Daniel Walker’s work moves between the written word, music and teaching. Echoes in Ashes is the music: another side of the man who wrote The Accountable Life and the novel Nobody’s Watching. Find the music, and let it meet you where you are.
Every Echoes in Ashes release in Apple Music’s catalog is a single, and there are more than a hundred of them. The first two, “Climb the Shadows” and “Getting Ahead,” came out on October 4, 2024, and most of the catalog followed that same month. Apple files more than half of the releases under Christian music; the rest range across hip-hop/rap, country, pop, K-pop, children’s music, metal, Latin, folk, rock, R&B/soul, blues and new age. Some of the titles are in Spanish, Korean, Thai and Arabic.
Eight singles came out in June 2026, the most recent in the catalog. Each title opens the song on Apple Music.
“THis Song” is the track in the listening room above and on the home page. Apple Music lists it as a hip-hop/rap single, released on October 6, 2024, and it’s also on Spotify. The Spotify player stays off the page until you choose to load it.
